Winterthur is running a series of national workshops to help IFAs develop an online presence.
In conjunction with IFA Systems, the five workshops will run throughout March 2007 in Newcastle, Manchester, Worcester, Waltham Abbey and Southampton. Each workshop contains six modules covering the key aspects of building and maintaining an online presence for professional financial advisers:
1. Why have a website?
2. Website design and format
3. Communicating effectively with clients
4. Content and practical application
5. How to use the web for marketing
6. Keeping your site up to date
David Thompson, director of distribution for Winterthur Life UK commented: “The workshops are being run as part of Winterthur’s Professional Edge range of services which assist IFAs in building their business models. The workshops are available to all advisers whatever stage they are at in their website planning.

Each workshop will start at 10.30am (with registration from 10am) and run for two hours, with an opportunity to ask questions or discuss individual issues afterwards. Admission is £25 per place and includes a buffet lunch plus a £50 voucher towards any new IFA Systems service for each attending firm. CPD certificates will be provided for all attendees.
