Winterthur New Star Property Funds Launch

Winterthur Life announces the launch of the Winterthur New Star Property Fund to complement its life and pension fund selection within its Tailored Selection range. The Fund has delivered a return of 60.35% compared to 44.60% over five years to 31/12/2005 for the IMA Specialist sector average1. The Fund will be available through Winterthur Life’s Tailored Selection on both individual and group pension policies and life products.

Winterthur New Star Property Fund:

  • Aims to achieve a high income together with some growth of both income and capital through investment in commercial property, property related assets, government and other public securities
  • Is one of only a few authorised unit trusts that can invest a high proportion of its assets directly into commercial property
  • The commercial property portfolio currently consists of 35 units featuring high quality, substantial assets and blue chip tenants
  • The Fund has an annual management charge of 1.20% and fund expenses of 0.15%.
