The businesses of AXA Wealth Limited and Winterthur Life UK Limited have been reorganised. The courts have approved transfers of certain policies under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

The following Winterthur Life UK Limited policies transferred to AXA Wealth Limited on 1 October 2011:

  • Investment Bond
  • The One from Winterthur (Retirement Wealth Account)
  • The Individual Personal Pension
    - policy number in the range of 5****; 6****; 3******
  • The Section 32
    - policy number in the range of 35***; 8****; 32*****
  • The Executive Personal Pension Plan
    - policy number in the range of 4****, 7****, 34*****
  • Trustee Investment Plan
  • Corporate Trustee Investment Plan

If your policy was provided by Winterthur Life UK Limited prior to 1 October 2011 and is not listed as transferred to AXA Wealth Limited, it remains with Winterthur Life UK Limited which is now part of the Friends Life group.

Please note that certain ex-Colonial Life products that were originally sold under the name ‘Rainbow’, as well as Rainbow products that are now paying out an annuity, transferred from AXA Wealth Limited into Winterthur Life UK Limited on 1 October 2011.
